*Pending sighting of the moon in Jerusalem which may be as much as three days after dark moon on calendar. Tishri and Nisan are critical months to observe the first light of the moon. God counted the days from evening in the beginning. If the moon is sighted on the first then the day will be listed as the day of the second but be prepared to start services on the evening before the listed dates for holidays. Because the feasts are set by the sightings of the moon in Jerusalem, it is the custom to celebrate many of the feasts two days outside of Jerusalem. When the moon is sited in Jerusalem day 1 of the Hebrew month, here in Washington it is still the last day of the previous month till sundown. If we were to celebrate from sunrise to sunrise it would be approximately the same as the believers in Jerusalem. So easily the day of the sighting on the Gregorian calendar and the following listed day would be when Jerusalem would celebrate the new moon which would mark Rosh Hashanah as well as marking the day to start counting to the 14th for Passover and other feasts. The standard Jewish Calendar dates on ones Gregorian Calendar may vary for this reason up to 29 days depending on the Sun, the Moon and the setting of the seasons by the rippening Barley called the "First Fruits" the day which Messiah was said to have risen from the dead as a first fruit.
