What we're all About

We are a torah observant community of believers in Yeshuah the Messiah. Teaching the Hebrew foundational theological views of the covenants of God with his people and how both Jews and non Jews can live these truths in a real and practical way today, to the honor and glory of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Is torah observance legalism or slavery to law?

That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, [and] that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he [is] thy life, and the length of thy days: ... Deuteronomy 30:20a

Obedience is only a burden to those that obey out of fear. When a task is done out of love for our Father and Redeemer it is no longer a burden.

The following is a list of scriptures that equate our love for God and savior with keeping His commands. For those who are forgiven much love much and seek all the more to please their heavenly Father.

Do we have to keep all the Laws in scripture perfectly to get to heaven?

No, we will however strive to keep all that we are able -if we love God. The goal is to be aiming for the targets God has assigned us, so that we may be an effective army for the Lord.

In reality most believers are already practicing the keeping of scriptural laws that can still be kept outside of Israel and without a temple system. The basic ten sub headings are a standard we teach our children to strive for and return to when they fail. That is the Ten Commandments - not the 9 commandments and one suggestion.

Keeping the Sabbath is just as morally important to us, our neighbor and creation as refraining from false witness and refraining from murder. Sabbath is our special time set aside with God and godly pursuits. It is a special time for focusing on our relationship with our heavenly Father.
